A smear of blood under the desk of a man accused of murdering five family members came from the Sydney crime scene, the Crown has alleged.
The Crown also alleges that Lian Bin ''Robert'' Xie was captured on video disposing of a shoebox that previously contained running shoes owned by him which were not located by police.
But they found photos of him wearing a ASICS brand shoes, which police say match the tread and size of shoe impressions found in the victims' blood.
The allegations were contained in the statement of the Crown case tendered in Sydney's Central Local Court yesterday when Xie, 47, unsuccessfully applied for bail. He is charged with murdering his brother-in-law, Min ''Norman'' Lin, 45, Mr Lin's wife, Yun Li ''Lily'' Lin, 43, her sister, Yun Bin ''Irene'' Yin, 39, and two boys who cannot be named for legal reasons.
